At 30 I still had people assume I was 12-15. I rarely wore makeup, and usually wore my hair up. I cannot count the number of times pervy old men would drive up to me, while waiting for a bus. They all had the same lame lines, “how old are you honey,” “do you need a ride/money/food.” I would scream obscenities at them until they drove away.

but this also means that biologically there isn’t much difference between a 30 year old and a 15 year old after puberty.

I was thirteen when a man sent me a disturbing link and message. I’ve never told anyone, I’m too scared somebody will shame me like she said in her video. It’s so important for kids to know that parents won’t judge or shame them when something happens like this, because a lot of the time (If not most) it is not the child’s fault.
